Bare Botanicals is one of the simplest products in the Oh My Balm collection—and one of the most loved.

Every batch begins weeks before I make the cream itself. I slowly infuse organic calendula flowers, comfrey, and wild plantain into oil by hand, allowing time and patience to do the work. Those infused oils are then blended with shea butter, beeswax, and nourishing plant oils to create a rich, fragrance-free cream.

Calendula, comfrey, and plantain have long been used in traditional herbal skincare and are beloved for their gentle, comforting nature. Bare has become a favorite for those with dry, reactive, easily overwhelmed skin, as well as anyone who prefers a simple moisturizer without added fragrance or essential oils.

The result is a velvety cream that leaves skin feeling soft, comforted, and deeply moisturized without a greasy finish.

Heat Warning for Bare

Bare is whipped, butter-based, and very much not built for mailbox saunas. In hot weather, it may melt in transit.

If it melts, don’t panic: the skin-loving ingredients still work beautifully. Just pop it in the fridge, let it firm back up, and use as usual. The texture may change, but the balm still does its job.
